Terrain Mode (HEV AWD)
Terrain Mode is designed to make outdoor adventure more sure-footed and comfortable. Terrain Mode does this by automatically adjusting the drive settings (including the suspension setting) to the nature of the surface or prevailing conditions. Mud, sand, or snow – to name only a few – can all be negotiated with ease.

Multi-Collision Braking (MCB)
The Multi-Collision Braking system helps to reduce the danger of secondary collisions by automatically applying the brakes once the airbags have been deployed after an initial impact.

Lane Follow Assist (LFA) & Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
LKA is a Driving Safety function that helps to prevent the vehicle from departing the lane while driving.
Warns if a lane departure is detected without a turn signal switch operation.
Automatically assists steering to prevent the vehicle from departing the lane only if a lane departure is detected without a turn signal switch operation.
LFA provides more precise steering control, keeping you centered in your lane for a safer and more comfortable drive, especially on long trips
Seven airbags with front centre-side airbag
The new Sportage comes with seven airbags, including one in the left side bolster of the driver's seat, designed to prevent the driver and front passenger's heads coming into contact during a collision.
Forward Collision-avoidance Assist 2
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA 2) monitors the surroundings while driving and provides warnings in case of collision risk.
If a preceding vehicle suddenly slows down or there is a high risk of collision with vehicles, motorcycles, pedestrians, or cyclists, it automatically applies braking. It also assists with brakingwhen turning left at an intersection with oncoming traffic or when crossing vehicles approach from the sides.
Additionally, it helps avoid collisions by applying emergency steering assistanceduring lane changes or when obstacles appear at the lane edges or in the blind spot.
Safe Exit Warning (SEW)
After stopping, when the occupant attempts to open the door to exit, it detects the risk of a collision with a vehicle or bicycle approaching from the rear side and provides a warning.
